Refund & Cancellation Policy

💳 Advance Payment Policy

To confirm your reservation at Your Choice Homestay, a minimum advance payment is required at the time of booking:

• A minimum advance of ₹200 is required to secure your booking.
• The remaining balance is to be paid directly at the property during check-in.
• All online payments are processed securely through Razorpay, our trusted payment gateway.
• You will receive a booking confirmation via email and/or WhatsApp once the advance payment is received.

📋 Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy for the advance payment is as follows:

The cancellation date is determined by the date and time we receive your cancellation request, not the date you send it. All times are in Indian Standard Time (IST).

📞 How to Cancel Your Booking

To cancel your reservation, please contact us through any of the following methods:

• WhatsApp: Send a message to +91 8004141248 with your booking details and cancellation request.
• Email: Write to stay@yourchoicehomestayvaranasi.com with your full name, booking date, and reason for cancellation.
• Phone: Call us at +91 8004141248 during business hours.

Please include the following information in your cancellation request:

• Full name of the guest
• Booking confirmation number (if available)
• Original check-in and check-out dates
• Reason for cancellation (optional)

🔄 Refund Processing

Once your cancellation is confirmed and a refund is applicable:

• Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
• The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used during booking.
• All refunds are processed through Razorpay, our payment gateway partner.
• Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3–5 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

✏️ Booking Modification Policy

Need to change your dates? We're happy to help:

• Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested at least 48 hours before the original check-in date.
• There is no additional charge for modifying your booking dates, provided rooms are available for the new dates.
• If the new dates have a different rate, the difference will be adjusted accordingly.
• To modify your booking, contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone.

⚠️ Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances

In the event of extraordinary circumstances beyond the control of either party, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, severe storms)
• Government-imposed travel restrictions or lockdowns
• Pandemic-related advisories
• Civil unrest or other unforeseen events

Your Choice Homestay will offer affected guests the choice of:

• A full refund of the advance payment, or
• A credit for future stay valid for 6 months from the original booking date.

Each situation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and we will always strive to find the fairest solution for our guests.
